Cheque Presentations 2008
17 November 2008

£3,400 was raised through the second football tournament held in the summer of 2008.
£1,700 was shared between the Oxford Children's Hospital and the Abingdon Town Amateur Boxing Club. Both were the chosen charities from the 2008 tournament contested by 23 mens teams - from companies like RM, Miele and Siemens to teams made up of friends, and music provided by Radio Cherwell - Oxford's hospital radio. The top fundraising team was Elmer Cotton - a team made up of friends entered by Dale Harris, Elmer Cotton colleague and supporter of the Children's Hospital in inspiration of his daughter, Mya, who is treated for spina bifida at the hospital.
