Play2Give (P2G) is an award-winning Thames Valley Charity of the Year fundraising organisation founded in 2007 by Andrew Baker MBE BCAv.

Based in Didcot, we support, raise money and awareness for a number of charities including the Oxford Children's Hospital.

The Play2Give Room - a patient room for teenagers - was unveiled at the Oxford Children's Hospital's Melanie's Ward in March 2017 after raising over £40,000 for our own named room. One of P2G's proudest moments. Picture - courtesy of and credited to Newsquest Oxfordshire

Since being created in September 2007 and being well established in Oxfordshire, we have raised and donated over to £269,000 to date. In total we have supported nearly 30 good causes and tens of thousands of individuals through our work. From all-year round charitable events and through gifts raised as part of our "Sleigh2Give" Christmas drive, we continue the heart of what our passionate founder is all about - changing, transforming and saving lives locally, with our particular focus on children, health and disability charities!

Read more about our British Citizen Award medallist founder Andrew who was also honoured with an MBE in HM The Queen's New Years Honours 2021.

Initially created as a football tournament P2G is an ever-growing independent fundraising organisation. Being hugely successful year on year our support and work grows and grows, helping tens of thousands of people through a wide number of events and campaigns.
We raise money and awareness each year and all year round for many county charities (see more on these below).

We are renowned for what we do receiving a great and loyal amount of support and love from the local community including very special royal recognition. As a team we are very proud of all that we and Andy achieve. Our name and reputation within the local community just continues to grow and grow. We were proud to win "Charity of the Year" at the Thames Valley Business and Community Awards in January 2020.

Our proud Patrons are Dr Winston Ellis and David Johnston OBE MP

We funded a patient room in Oxford Children's Hospital

2017 saw us achieve a special long lasting legacy with a sponsored room unveiled within the Oxford Children's Hospital in our name.

After years of setting out to achieve a £40,000 target for the Children's Hospital, late 2016 saw us reach the very special goal in our history. We were delighted in March 2017 when the ribbon to The Play2Give Room on Melanie's  Ward was officially cut by Andrew.

A massive thank you to everyone who supported and helped us over many years to achieve this very special room which will go on to treat and support teenagers and their families for a lifetime.

£7,000 raised across 2017 in our tenth year funded six specialist custom-built physiotherapy chairs for the Headway Oxfordshire centre's neurological rehabilitation gym.

Over £10,000 raised across three years from 2018 sponsored a family room unveiled in early 2021 at the new Ronald McDonald House at the John Radcliffe which funded 400 nights to keep a family accommodated and close by to their sick child at the hospital.
