At Play2Give we are Superheroes every day. In February 2019, a group of caped crusaders chose Play2Give to team up with to support and help us to raise money and further awareness for our organisation and the charities we help, seeing our number of volunteers grow and therefore increasing what we can do including engaging further in the community through the love of superheroes, as everyone holds out for a hero.
Want to become one of our caped crusaders? Join Andy's Heroes, fill in the form below and you could help change, transform and save lives too.

Events we have held or got involved with out and in the community since March 2019:
  • Tesco Didcot Bag Pack, March 2019: Batman, Mr Incredible and Rey debuted at Tesco superstore in Didcot armed with buckets to raise money. Across six hours on a Sunday, we bag packed and collected money and raised £484 - split equally between charities: Footsteps, Headway Oxfordshire and Bring Back Oliver's Smile.
  • OX5RUN 2019, March 2019: Batman, Mr Incredible, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Rey, Captain America and Lady America all ran or walked five miles around Blenheim Palace raising over £1,500 for the Oxford Children's Hospital Charity.
  • Harwell Feast, May 2019: We was present with our stocks. Some of our heroes got soaked with wet sponges in our stocks that debuted at the annual Harwell village fete. Together with a tombola, the Heroes helped raise over £412 for local charities.
  • Bands on the Boundary, June 2019: On a hot Saturday, the third 'Bands on the Boundary' event was held, and we raised over £245 with a tombola. We also let visitors have their 'selfies' taken with our superheroes present.
  • Didcot Summer Fayre, August 2019: The stocks was out in force yet again with Supergirl, Lady America amongst Batman, Robin and Captain America all taking a good soaking. Over £410 was raised alongside a raffle.
  • Didcot - JR Walk, September 2019: The Superheroes held their first biggest challenge of the year as caped crusaders. Walking and in the case of Mr Incredible, scooting, a mammoth 20-plus miles across nearly 12 hours from Didcot Football Club to the Oxford Children's Hospital. £580 was raised through generous bucket donations and online donors, towards the youngest of hospital patients and their families.
  • Children's Hospital Christmas Present Drop, December 2019: Mr Incredible, Spiderman were amongst Elsa from Frozen and Army volunteers who helped deliver hundreds of presents to sick children at the John Radcliffe. Presents raised as part of our annual 'Sleigh2Give' present collection.
