Didcot Mini Festive Market

Play2Give are delighted to be organising a mini Christmas feelgood event for Didcot, supported by Didcot Events.
Following the cancellation of this year's Street Fair (which has been an annual traditional festive staple for the town) due to Coronavirus this year, we are working with the Didcot Events team to bring a smaller mini version to the town, helping to spread some festive spirit this year with a five-hour event.
Join us for a festive-fun-filled day. *Subject to latest government guidelines continually updated*
There will be a range of gift, food and charity stalls as well as musical entertainment from two choirs, Vocalize and Grace Church Didcot with carol singing.
Sal's Snack Bar will be open to rustle up hot food including burgers and hot dogs. The Sandwich Shop and USA Fried Chicken, both in the Market Place, will also be opening.
Santa himself will also be appearing.
Stalls will be laid out in a socially-distanced safe aspect, and the layout of the Market Place will be done in a socially distanced Covid-19 safe way, with a one way in and one way out system and sanitising stations in place.
With our thanks to MJ Events Support for supervising and running the security aspects, James Gesner Estate Agents as main sponsor and to Newbury Building Society for sponsoring the leaflet printing.
Play2Give will be the main charity to benefit from proceeds raised, and we will also be giving other charities in the town the chance to raise their own awareness and vital funds for their own important work, as a way to help them out during this pandemic.
Play2Give will have its fundraising stall with a tombola and merchandise on sale, and you will also be able to drop off any donations for the "Sleigh2Give6" Christmas present appeal on the day, at their branded gazebo.

The Mayor of Didcot, Eleanor Hards, will be judging the best dressed stall on the day - so we encourage our stalls to think creative!
