Football Fun Day 2012
15 July 2012 - Oxford City Football Club
2012 was the year that saw the football tournament rejuvenated with a new concept - a children's fun day seeing children helping children in hospital - and was the most successful than previous years in the event's history.
Contested by 16 boys teams across under 8's and under 9's, an amazing £5,103.65 was raised for the Oxford Children's Hospital and saw face painting, a bouncy castle, doughnuts, refreshments, music and entertainment from Jack FM, Oxford United players making special appearances, a large raffle and silent auction items up for grabs. It was a truly fantastic day! Kindly sponsored for the first year by the big-hearted Breckon & Breckon and our staunch supporters, Newbury Building Society.
