Martial Arts Sparathon
24th June 2018
An event in partnership with Wantage Vale TKD Raising Funds for Oxford Children's Hospital Charity
Play2Give are proud to announce the partnership with Vale TKD (Wantage Taekwondo School) to bring a sparathon to life to help raise money for Oxford Children's Hospital, as part of P2G's continued efforts for this very special hospital in 2018.
This sparathon will involve the challenge of 100 rounds of sparing (1 and a half minutes) for 13+ years of age & 50 rounds of sparring (1 minute) for those aged 12-7 years of age.
The event with involve a number of different martial artists coming together, pushing themselves and testing their limits in the name of raising as much money for CHOX - the proceeds of which will help fund brand new facilities including new parent accommodation, play areas as well as top of the range medical and diagnostic equipment and entertainment items.
We are setting a target for each individual to raise at least £50, if this is achieved we will hit our £7,500 target for the event. But we would love to hope we could even collect as much as £15K! With your help and generosity all of this could be possible.
Timings:
Children 7-12 years of age - 9:30 - 11.15
Junior + Adults: 11.30 - 15:00
Full safety equipment to be worn by all participants:
