We now have over 20 volunteers in total ranging in ages from 18 to 70 plus, all helping to make P2G the successful organisation that it is. Meet our core team below, and a huge thank you to every single volunteer who help and are involved!
Andrew Baker MBE BCAv
Founder & CEO
Andrew, known as 'Mr Play2Give' created Play2Give in September 2007. He heads up the team, ensuring compliance is met, and is responsible for the day-to-day running and decisions of the organisation. He brings his A-Level business studies and ICT qualifications, and helps to drive, inspire and motivate his team of volunteers. Read more about Andy
Matt came on board in the summer of 2016 and focuses on raising awareness of our work in the local community including liaising with local businesses and utilising social media campaigns. He helps organise community fundraising events and heads up our volunteer recruitment. email@example.com
Head of Fundraising & Development
Best friend of Andy, Luke joined our team in 2015. Having shaved his head to raise money for P2G, Luke became inspired & enthused in Andy's good work and passionately joined the executive team. Whilst being deputy to Andy, he is responsible for the development, delivery and continued growth of the organisation .
Sporting & Challenge Events Officer
Jordan is the newest addition, bringing his experience as Ambassador for Partyman's Magic Makers charity and venue management, focusing on organising sporting and challenge events including our annual football tournament, amongst other associated events. firstname.lastname@example.org
Head of the Superheroes
As a member of the former fundraising group, the Didcot Thong Rangers, Andy was instrumental in bringing together 70% of the group to create the 'Play2Give Superheroes'. Andy heads up the caped crusaders to deliver exciting, fun and engaging superhero themed challenges and feats within the community to increase awareness and funds. Become a P2G Superhero
Marketing and Graphics
Pete produces all of our marketing literature. Once production manager for the former Oxfordshire Guardian newspaper, Pete donates his services and time for free, and was central in our rebranding design in late 2018. In our 10th year he took part in a sponsored skydive.
