The Play2Givers Take on The Monster

18 April 2015 - Cornbury Park
Picture
Our tremendous team of ten took on the Monster at the beautiful surroundings of Cornbury Park in West Oxfordshire on a gorgeous sunny Saturday in April to raise funds for Play2Give and between all eleven of them as a team just under £1,200 was raised!

All our 3 charities that benefited from the participants sponsorship raised has been shared between Oxford Children's Hospital and the Paediatric Eye Fund at the John Radcliffe Hospital and Headway Oxfordshire - that's over £399 to each one of them!

The highest raisers was TS Fitness led by Tom Shaw, personal trainer at The Park Club on Milton Park, they raised over £500 as a team!  Huge thanks and congratulations to all of our team members who waded through mud, water, slid down a water shoot, climbed through barbed wire and over obstacles courses - so our hugest thanks to: Sara Dixon, Ryan Evans, Louise Gibson, Craig Harris, Paul Lyford, Punit Mistry, Andy Morley David Reilly, Tom Shaw, Jonny Simmonds.

It was a truly fantastic event - and The Play2Givers will be back for 2016's Spring Monster to face it all over again!!
