The Ploddering Play2Givers in Oxford 5k

The tremendous trio of our very own founder Andrew Baker and two of our supporters Paul Tucker (Director of Kidactive Oxford) and Patrick Mills winged their way round the 5k course of this year's Oxford Fun Run in the stunning grounds of the University Parks in Oxford City Centre on a beautiful sunny May morning to raise funds for two of our charities.
The guys, aptly named 'The Ploddering Play2Givers' walked their way round the 5k course, or rather wheelbarrowed it round, and that was just mainly Andrew.
Andrew and Patrick added rather amusing proceedings to entertainings, with Andrew dressed as Batman's sidekick Robin and Patrick as an escaped convict, whilst Paul well he just came dressed as himself!
Thank you to both Paul and Patrick who between them raised £160 in sponsorship - that's £80 added to our fundraising targets this year for the Oxford Children's Hospital and Headway Oxfordshire - both received £80 each!
Last year's fun run in the Uni Parks organised annually by the Rotary Club of Oxford raised £15,000 for various charities through runners sponsorship.
