Last year two fantastic supporters of Play2Give, Stuart Crook and Matthew Crook, both Oxford brothers, ran the gruelling 13.1 miles across Oxford's most iconic sites, including the Thames path, the BMW MINI factory and the dreaming spires itself. The atmosphere was buzzing as thousands of people lined up at the Kassam Stadium (home of Oxford United), waiting for Sir Roger Bannister to sound the starting horn.

The atmosphere was buzzing as thousands of people lined up at the Kassam Stadium (home of Oxford United), waiting for Sir Roger Bannister to sound the starting horn.

Between them Stuart and Matt raised £680 for Oxford Children's Hospital inspired by Play2Give, and were joined by cheerleaders along the way and wore brilliant blue running tees (supplied by our friends at Elmer Cotton sports shop in the city centre).
Famed for its university and stunning architecture, the city of Oxford will once again open its streets to thousands of runners taking on this mighty challenge. Every finisher will receive a Brooks finishers technical t-shirt, as a souvenir.
This year's route starts on St Giles and takes in the Radcliffe Camera, Bodleian Library and many of the University colleges.

HOW YOUR MONEY HELPS
Play2Give raises funds to support chosen charities - Oxford Children's Hospital, Headway Oxfordshire and the John Radcliffe Paediatric Eye Fund.
By running and supporting Play2Give's fundraising objectives, you can choose to support all or one of these charities. Play2Give, set up in 2007, has already raised over £34,000 for these and other charities.
