Sobell House

Since late 2020, Sobell House has been one of our three key charities in fundraising to honour the memory of Angela Norris.
Our late and dedicated supporter, Angela was supported by the incredible Sobell House in her final weeks of life, receiving wonderful and compassionate end of life palliative care, until she sadly passed away from complications from broncho-pneumonia.
To honour Angela all fundraising we provide is in her memory, and we are delighted to have recognition in the form of a golden leaf on the memory tree situated in the hospice.
So far we have raised over £1,000 towards the hospice, with funds raised from events including our first festive mini market held in early December, 2020, and our record Christmas raffle. We have also raised funds year this year from virtual fundraising games, proceeds raised as part of a colour fun run and an Easter raffle which was a record breaking success.
Further funds this year will come from tombola's, cakes sales, further raffles, and in 2022 with our third glitzy ball, being held on March 12th 2022. Our Play2Give Balls was Angela's favourite social event.
