Style Acre

We are delighted in 2018 to add Style Acre (reg. charity 1101626) to our extended list of supported charities.
Style Acre, based in Wallingford, supports people with people with learning disabilities and enhances the lives of people with learning disabilities and autism. Each and every person they support is valued and helped to lead a meaningful life and realise their potential.
They work with families and carers to provide the best possible experience for people they support. Style Acre - winner of the Best Established Charity Award at the Didcot BACAs 2017 - provides supported living, day opportunities and work programmes for adults with learning disabilities and autism across Oxfordshire.
We are delighted to lend our support to this life-changing local charity right here in Oxfordshire and one of which our own founder Andrew Baker can relate to. Andy went through speech and learning difficulties through his early years of childhood. Due to the brain injury he suffered at birth, he was unable to talk. Through speech therapy he received through a speech therapist at nursery he was able to begin to talk around the age of 5/6. He experienced learning support all throughout his schoolhood, due to the learning disabilities he was born with, but, through the support he received - which Style Acre didn't exist back then - he has grown into the young man he is of today.
