Governance

Our Trustees who steer the charity ensure that good governance is in place and taken very seriously and that we comply with charity regulations.

We ensure Play2Give has the policies and systems in place to ensure that this is a well-run charity and that public benefit is always at the heart of what we do. We are registered with the Fundraising Regulator and take our responsibilities and the fundraising promise seriously.

Our Trustees meet either in person or online and communicate regularly, to review our structure and our development and ensure that the good running of our charity is maintained.

Our Chair of Trustees is fundraising hero Andrew Baker MBE BCAv, who founded the charity and is a brain injury survivor and former Oxford children’s hospital patient. He is the driving force behind the charity and inspires all of our board as well as our volunteers every day with his determination, passion and enthusiasm. Our Vice Chair is Dr Matthew Norris-Silva FRSA, who works for a charity in Oxford IFES and was a Reading University graduate.

Making up the rest of the board of trustees are former Didcot mayor and currently Didcot town councillor, Mocky Khan, an experienced marketing consultant who helps to ensure good compliance is maintained and treasurer, Jackie Billington, also a former Mayor of Didcot and who works in accounts at Christ Church College in Oxford. Together, all four of our trustees share their knowledge, experience, skills and volunteer their time to steer the charity.
