We are always looking to welcome passionate, committed individuals to our Board of Trustees.

As a trustee, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of our charity, ensuring we stay true to our mission and deliver meaningful impact for our beneficiaries. Trustees work collectively to safeguard the charity’s values, financial health, and long-term sustainability.

What We’re Looking For

We’re particularly keen to hear from people with experience in:

• Fundraising – to help us grow and diversify our fundraising efforts
• Digital communications – to strengthen our online presence and engagement

We also welcome interest from anyone who shares our values and brings fresh perspective, whether from the charity, public, or private sectors.

Trustee Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with our governing document, charity law, and relevant regulations
• Help set strategic goals and monitor performance against them
• Safeguard the charity’s assets and financial stability
• Contribute to the development and oversight of key policies (e.g. safeguarding, equality, health & safety)
• Champion our values and uphold our reputation
• Identify and manage key risks
• Attend and contribute to board meetings, using sound judgment and acting in the charity’s best interests

Time Commitment

Board meetings are approximately 1 hour and held as needed, either in person or remotely. Meetings are currently hybrid and take place in Didcot.

Partnerships & Engagement Officer

Play2Give is looking for a friendly, proactive, and relationship‑driven volunteer to help grow our network of supporters across the community. As our Partnerships & Engagement Officer, you’ll build meaningful connections with businesses, schools, and local groups — helping to expand our fundraising reach, strengthen community involvement, and create new opportunities for impact.

Working closely with the Business & Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in developing long‑term partnerships that champion our mission and support the charity’s growth.

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from people with experience or interest in:

• Community engagement, outreach, or partnership building
• Working with businesses, schools, or local organisations
• Fundraising, sponsorship, or supporter relations
• Networking and communication

We also welcome volunteers who bring confidence, warmth, and a passion for connecting people with a cause that changes lives.

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with businesses, schools, and community groups
• Support partnership proposals, sponsorship opportunities, and workplace fundraising
• Encourage community involvement in appeals, events, and volunteering
• Carry out outreach and identify new collaboration opportunities
• Work with the Marketing & Communications Team to recognise partners and share impact
• Keep clear records of partner activity and update the Business & Operations Manager regularly

Time Commitment
