Meet the team

Meet our dedicated volunteers who make it all happen! From our board of trustees who help to steer and direct the charity to others behind the scenes, and the growing number who help, we are a very motivated, dedicated, and fun-loving team all inspired as change makers through Andrew’s passion for the benefit of those we strive to support.

Andrew Baker MBE BCAv

Founder & Chair

Andrew, known as ‘Mr Play2Give’ created Play2Give in September 2007. He heads up the team, ensuring compliance is met, and is responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the organisation.

He brings his A-Level business studies and ICT qualifications, and helps to drive, inspire and motivate the team, as it’s Andy who makes the team enthused to help.

Leanne Coates

As part of the board of trustees, Leanne is the secretary of the organisation, helping to deal with communications, bookings and telephone correspondence.

Dr. Matthew Norris-Silva FRSA

Matt came on board in the summer of 2016 and focuses on raising awareness of our work in the local community including helping to organise community fundraising events and liaising with local businesses and utilising social media campaigns.

Matt is no stranger to sponsored challenges, he has skydived, dyed his hair silver and shaved his head all to help raise funds, and a great ambassador amongst the community. He is part of our board of trustees.

Mocky Khan DipM FCIM

Mocky, a Didcot town and SODC councillor, officially became a Trustee for us in April 2022, and has long supported us. He supported us as one of his two charities during his term as Mayor for a year, helping to raise  funds and awareness in his Mayoral year.

He brings with him a wealth of strategic management background in his role as a director of Fahrenheit 212 Ltd.

Jackie Billington

Since being a former mayor of Didcot, Jackie has since continued to champion and support Andy and helps on our stalls, but her main role as one of our trustees is as treasurer.

Peter Herring

Graphics & Marketing Support

A freelance professional designer, and once the production manager of the now defunct Oxfordshire Guardian newspaper, Pete skydived for us in our tenth anniversary to raise funds for our charity. In 2018, Pete came on board to offer his expertise and skills as a volunteer designing most of our graphics and marketing such as logos and posters and banners. Contact Pete for any graphic and design support

Lee Vanstone

Website Support

Lee provides all our website support and designed this website in 2022. Lee can be contacted for any WordPress Web Design.

We are delighted at Play2Give to receive the Patronage of a political figure in our own constituency, our very own local MP.
