About the event
Join Play2Give for our 14th football tournament and fun day and make it a match of the day with us at Wallingford Sports Park on Sunday July 13th.
Do you eat, live, and breathe the beautiful game of footy? Fancy a kick about whilst changing, transforming, and saving lives locally?
** TEAM REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED **
The day will see 18 teams battle it out across 4 Pitches with 3 Winners all battling it out for The P2G PEF-Sponsored Cup, The P2G Waymark Property Plate and the Top Fundraising Team Trophy.
A day of fun pitch side for everyone
Last year’s event raised close to £6,000 for our charity in changing, transforming, and saving lives across Oxfordshire, and this year we hope to raise thousands again to help us to help some of our favourite children, health and disability organisations that the funds raised help.
There will be medals, sponsored by The Jones Robinson Group, for all players in the top four finishing teams, and this year’s champions will be presented with The P2G Paediatric Eye Fund-sponsored Cup. There will also be The P2G Waymark Property Plate awarded to the top placed team contesting in 3rd or 4th.
There will be a cup presented for the top fundraising team, which last year was awarded to ATA Logistics, and in 2023 to Planet IT.
On the day, there will also be music and the all important match announcements and scores all from Hospital Radio Cherwell, food and drink courtesy of the sports park, raffle, tombola and pitch side family fun with a bouncy castle and rodeo buckaroo and glitter bar. John’s Whippy, the very best ice cream van, will be popping along too, to keep everyone cool and refreshed.
Supporters Blue Blood will be joining us and they will be running a Find the Joker of the Pack game, for the chance to win a £50 Blue Blood voucher and a 1 of 1 shirt, all for a £2 donation a go. Blue Blood have also provided a kit worth around £200 for one lucky team, who was drawn randomly.
A huge thank you to our sponsors for making the event possible: The Jones Robinson Group, Blue Blood, DM Hair and Waymark Property.
