About the event
Let’s Race, Oxford
The fast and flat Oxford Half Marathon returns for 2024 on Sunday 13 October, a perfect route for both newbies and those personal best chasers. This race sold out in 2023, so do not hang about and book today to secure your place.
By running this iconic 13.1-mile half marathon and on the roads and pavements through the stunning city of dreaming spires of Oxford, you could support our charity in the process by choosing Play2Give to raise funds for while you are taking part and helping in changing, transforming, and saving lives.
Over the years we’ve seen several supporters pound the pavements raising over £1,000 in total in that time for our charity – and it you could be your turn?
By running you will be helping us in making an enormous difference to the lives of so many that our fundraising impacts from the tiniest of tots and courageous teens at our local children’s hospital to adults living with the impact of brain injuries and many more, and by running you will also get to raise vital awareness of our charity in a branded t-shirt or vest in our charity colours.
The course takes runners through the pristine, winding streets of historic Oxford – seen of course on TV with the likes of Inspector Morse and Lewis. The route begins in the city centre and passes through the stunning sites of Old Marston village, River Cherwell, Oxford University’s impressive Lady Margaret Hall, before looping back past the university colleges and finishing on Parks Road.
Entry costs £25 and we ask our participants to aim to raise a minimum £150 for our charity.
