Corporate Support
Could your workplace or company aid Play2Give and change, transform and save lives in the process?

Corporate social responsibility opportunities
Many organisations in these current economic times value and appreciate the importance of good corporate social responsibility – team building, community engagement, recruitment and employee involvement and even volunteering opportunities by supporting more local, closer to home and smaller charities.

Why support Play2Give
Play2Give is a unique and small charity with the aim to raise money, awareness, and supporting a number of Oxfordshire charities particularly focussed on children, health and disability causes.
We are a well regarded charity for the fact that we are run by an inspiring and enterprising young man, Andrew Baker MBE BCAv who founded this organisation in 2007. Continuing the fundraising he started at school aged 14 in 2003, Play2Give’s lifetime contribution to Oxfordshire’s Children’s Hospital has been so significant that over £100,000 has been provided to the hospital across 21 years.
Andrew won an Enterprise Award in the Oxfordshire Youth Awards in 2013 for recognition of his hard work and this hard work has only gone on to increase P2G as a well-respected, much loved, and continually growing charity. The impact has been so huge that he along with we have even earnt acclaim from the Prime Minister and from Royalty.

Play2Give is now a registered charity
In the last few years alone, P2G has grown from a voluntary fundraising organisation to a registered charity, still with just volunteers and no paid staff which makes us so unique as it means we have no central overheads or staff costs. We have received incredible support from a number of Oxfordshire companies – all helping us to have raised and donated out over £450,000 to over 40 local causes and to individuals in need whether financially or through gifts received in toy appeals at Christmas to make a difference.
Companies who have kindly supported us
Companies from local supermarkets like Sainsbury’s to Tesco in Didcot, estate agents, have all supported our work whether its in sponsoring events, to adopting us as their charity for a year to making donations or raising money – and we are very grateful to each and every one of these and many many others!

The need for continued support
We are in need of continued support financially from companies and organisations to keep our wonderful work and our charity going – as this means that the more corporate support we receive, the more that we raise can continue to go to the charities we help all year round, so that we can continue to change, transform and save even more lives.
Spread our fundraising efforts
Even spreading the word at your workplace about us and what we do really does help. In late 2018 we re-branded with a new logo, we have new promotional leaflets, new marketing materials, new charity pots and buckets, new email addresses and in 2021 we gained our first business address headquarters, we continue to grow and expand. The future is bright and all driven by the passion of what our founder Andy Baker started
Inspiring Founder!
Our founder is pretty remarkable himself – and he is an award winner! We was created initially as a football tournament to raise funds for charity, set up in September 2007 by Didcot’s very own community champion, Andrew Baker MBE BCAv. Andy, who has even been to the Palace of Westminster and honoured with an esteemed British Citizen Award for volunteering and charitable giving, an honour from the Prime Minister in tribute to his remarkable work, and of course from the late Queen Elizabeth II with the highest honour of them all, an MBE for services to charity. He is amazing. He was born with a brain injury, and underwent treatment throughout childhood including brain surgery aged 12 following a further head injury sustained aged 8. It was due to having his life saved twice over by Oxford medics that inspired Andy to set up P2G after beginning a mission to raise money aged 14 in 2003. We think he is a true champion in fundraising, with a big heart and a passion to help others, despite living with a chronic life-long health condition, who has a natural gift for driving others to get involved in his endeavours.
We are asking for your continued help. It doesn’t matter if you work for or are a small local company to a large national business with a local branch because every donation we receive or every offer of support in a helping hand financially means that we can continue to provide invaluable and vital support and fundraise to help local people and local charities in need. BUT, we can only continue to do this and continue our important work with the continued generosity of financial and corporate donors to enable us to continue to grow, survive and thrive.
