What a weekend of toy donations!
After four days and long hours we’ve smashed all previous successful records in Tesco Didcot and we have had the best in store appeal in the eight years of our festive campaign.
It has been a record breaking amount of toys and gifts received from the very generous customers and staff of Tesco’s amounting to hundreds and ÂŁ547.73 raised in cash donations, which is also a new record!
We never fail to be amazed by the kind hearts of the superstore customers and our community of Didcot and beyond including Wallingford who donate in store each year but more so this year is even more extraordinary with the cost of living crisis, but they once again delivered.
All of these toys and gifts will make an enormous difference this Christmas to brighten up the lives of thousands of children and families in hospital, the less fortunate children, the vulnerable and those financially struggling.
Our Sleigh2Give drive is all about spreading cheer, joy and smiles each year and once again we will for sure do all of this in abundance this Christmas.
Tesco’s also donated some toys into the sleigh today for which we are grateful. They have always been tremendous support to us.
We always love being in the 2413 store and once again they have shown great warmth and welcome to us, over the past four days.
We can’t say thank you enough to them all and the fabulous shoppers.
