A right party on the park tots in over £1.2k

Over £1.2k raised by Party on the Park!

What a day that was, and after almost a year delay, what a great way to mark our fifteenth birthday it was with our very first party on the park.

Our very first party on the park – held to celebrate our charity’s 15th year and postponed from last September after the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II – was a huge success and, despite the rain that came later in the afternoon, no spirits was dampened by those who braved the showers to carry on the celebrations into the evening.

We are delighted already after costs the total raised from our special anniversary event comes to over £1,200!

This is an incredible amount far surpassing what we hope to achieve through the funds raised, and will go a long way in continuing to help our charity in changing, transforming, and saving lives across Oxfordshire for our good work in the community.

Organisations and causes like Oxford Children’s Hospital and Oxford Head Injury Services among others are just two that will benefit through the funds raised by our fabulous fun day, alongside all of our fantastic variety of events this year and those still to come.

Our 15th birthday party on the park was superbly compered and presented by Utopia Disco saw over 50 stalls, a plethora of fun activities, fair rides, inflatables, performers, bands and even a mini farm all come together bringing Didcot together for a fabulous free family friendly day, and we didn’t half have an awesome party to celebrate all of our incredible work and successes over our lifetime.

We would like to say an enormous thank you to all of the sponsors, supporters, stall holders, entertainers, bands, performers, fun fair, fun providers, Didcot Fire Station, AV Events, volunteers and event organisers who made it all possible, and everyone else in between and of course our wonderful venue, Boundary Park, who hosted and provided such great support and allowed us to hold it at such a great ground.

Not resting on our laurels we are busy in the final planning and preparations for our Great Gatsby gala Ball coming up on 30th September, and beginning to plan for all of our festive fundraising.

We are P2G, proud to be changing, transforming, and saving lives across Oxfordshire and beyond.
