And that’s a wrap as 8th Sleigh2Give appeal is a record campaign

A record Sleigh2Give
And that is a wrap for another year!
What a year this year has been not just for our charity but for our festive arm too, for which we focus on a special feature on our 8th and most incredible Sleigh2Give drive.
It must be a record Sleigh2Give ever!
We have received over 1,250 gifts – all from our fabulous community of donations from local and a far all enabling us to spread cheer, joy and smiles to children and families in hospital, the vulnerable, and those less fortunate in our society.
We’ve even received donations from Berkshire and gifted out joy to children in hospital wards in Reading, and to struggling families in Swindon this year!
We have made deliveries to:
Oxford Children’s Hospital
Helen & Douglas House
Headway Oxfordshire
Home-Start Southern Oxfordshire
Thomley
Home-Start Oxford
SSNAP (Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents)
Viking House, Oxford
Royal Berks Hospital children’s wards
CAPS – Christians Against Poverty
The Tiny Treasures Trove, Swindon (part of JD Church Swindon)
Oxfordshire Foster Care Association
And some individual families facing hardship.
And, as we have had another overwhelming number of gifts this year than ever before, we will be able to gift out in January, which is simply astonishing.
This year when we launched our 8th (yes 8th!) annual Sleigh2Give drive in late September we wasn’t sure how the response would go from the public.
This year with the cost of living crisis affecting us all we wasn’t sure how the donations for our present appeal would go or people’s purse-strings but as always our community of incredible supporters have come out trumps and we’ve been truly overwhelmed and amazed more than ever by the sheer kindness and generosity that we have received. We never ceased to be amazed.
Sleigh2Give is all about spreading, cheer joy and smiles in abundance and we have done this once again this month with all that we have distributed out with more donation zones than ever before.
From over 1,000 donations of new toys, story books, puzzle books, games, sensory toys, baby items, jigsaws, puzzles, toiletries, selection boxes and soft toys to arts and crafts, footballs, adult board games, and more we are literally all elved out!
As well as all the individuals who have given so generously at our various donation zones, or into supermarket trollies and sleighs, we would like to say thank you to all the following companies, schools, groups and sports clubs for being involved and being a part of the record breaking Sleigh2Give 8:
