Top Football Tournament Fundraising Team Award Winners

Our congratulations once again to the guys at ATA Logistics Ltd and ATA Sameday who were our winners this year of our 2025 Charity Football Tournament top fundraising team award trophy.

Each year, one team who raises the most amount of money towards the charity as part of the event is awarded with a special fundraising award in recognition of going above and beyond in the fundraising stakes.

All of the annual contest’s teams who take the time, effort and energy to raise funds beyond the entry fee, are all amazing and are all heroes in our eyes. As extra motivation, this special award serves as an incentive to teams to work to raise the most in the weeks leading up to the fundraising tournament, and year on year we see many teams going above and beyond.

This year, the teams who contributed towards raising funds really did go the extra mile coming up with many ingenious, and often creative and inspiring ways to raise funds, and some just raise the most simplest of donations online.

From head shaves to hair dyes to office bake off and cake sales to sweepstakes and even taking on dares as challenges, so many went literally over and above – and we are immensely inspired and blown away by them all.

Congratulations to this year’s top fundraising team winners both sister companies at ATA who raised £2,185 on Justgiving, alongside gift aid.

Last year, the companies, based on Didcot’s Southmead – close to BizSpace, the site of our lock up – raised over £1.3k plus gift aid, and aimed this year to raise £1.5k.

They were presented by Andy with a beautiful glass trophy during the group games on Sunday. It is great to see their latest award displayed proudly in their offices.

Last year they also went the extra mile by raising funds and collecting toys for our 10th anniversary Sleigh2Give Christmas appeal, and they literally did collect hundreds of toys alongside hundreds of pounds for our very special festive campaign, spreading cheer, joy and smiles far and wide including poorly children in hospital.

Well done to everyone at ATA for the amazing collective effort, and to all of the wonderful teams, or individual players, who went above and raising almost over £4.2k alone in this way towards the record breaking £7,255 this year’s event. We think you are all incredible ✨️🫶🏅
