BERRO LOUNGE AID IS A SMASHING SUCCESS 🥁✨️
Wow! What a result!
What an amazing amount and what a brilliant fundraising drive!
Our biggest of thanks to our friends at Berro Lounge in Orchard Centre Didcot who had been busy fundraising for our charity since start of June across seven weeks raising funds and awareness for Play2Give.
They only went and smashed their goal of £800 by raising an incredible record amount of money with over £1,480!
£1,485.08 to be exact!
This is just amazing.
We would like to add our enormous thank you to each and every member of Berro Lounge staff who really took our charity and our mission in changing, transforming, and saving lives locally to their hearts, working their socks off to fundraise with great passion and enthusiasm and fitting in so much into their crusade, to raise such an incredible amount.
This is the most amount of funds they’ve raised through their annual “Lounge Aid” campaign and they were also the best in their region at fundraising that their head office donated £500 to add to the grand total.
From a bake sale that was a tasty recipe for success that started the drive to a 70-mile spin bike challenge from Didcot to the Bristol (the length to their founding lounge), one of our pots on the bar, Author AJ Warren’s page book launch cupcake donations, a sell-out drag bingo show, and a hamper raffle and more.
The fundraising ended with a great finale with a fantastic live music night,
🎶🎶 held on Friday, with Laurence Williams, it went out in style and what a party we had 🎉🎈🪩
Andy was there to receive the great big cheque from Manager Dec and supervisor Harry and to say he was slightly overwhelmed is an understatement, we were blown away by the end total far surpassing all expectations but matching what was a fantastic partnership full of fun, exciting and brilliant events and activities.
Our thanks to everyone who contributed to the total by donating, buying raffle tickets, having cake, playing bingo, the staff getting into a right old pedalling frenzy and to Dec and his amazing team for all they did and their utter hard work to make Lounge Aid 2024 such a storming success.
We must also add thanks to Snap Fitness for loaning Berro one of their spin bikes over two weeks.
This staggering amount is really going to continue helping us in our great work in our community of changing, transforming, and saving lives ❤️
We think Berro, who next month celebrates their sixth birthday 🎂🎈, and all their customers are P2G Heroes. What superstars 🌟🏅
