Calling out for eggscellent support with Easter appeal

Published: 1st February 2023

Easter Egg Appeal launches for a third year!

Today (February 1st) we are delighted to launch our Easter Egg Appeal for 2023.

Why not be a good egg and get involved with our latest campaign to bring smiles to local children within our local community by donating an Easter egg this year?

With your help, we can bring a bit of joy to poorly children in hospital, children and siblings in our local Oxford children’s hospice, and those vulnerable.

Last year’s second Easter appeal was the best on record with an astonishing 439 eggs collected and distributed! We need your help to help us top this, this year!

Could you kindly donate an Easter egg or an Easter chocolate treat this year? All the eggs donated will be passed to Oxford Children’s Hospital, siblings and families of poorly babies in the neonatal care at the JR via SSNAP – Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents, Helen & Douglas House, Viking House in Oxford and more.

If you would like to donate, please drop us a message on Facebook for our private addresses where eggs can be delivered, or you can donate at one of our confirmed public donation points. See below.

Donation Zones in Didcot – these will be live with donation boxes soon, keep posted for the update!

  • Boundary Park, GWP, Didcot OX11 6EY
  • Space Store, Orchard Centre

Members and staff of Pure Gym in Didcot will also be taking part to collect eggs once again for a third year.

This year, you can also make a financial donation online. Just scan the QR code on the flyer or click here to be taken to our secure donation website.

Thank you for your help, and please share our appeal far and wide.

We hope for another eggscellent response, and your eggs-ordinary generosity will be hugely appreciated once again, as it is only thanks to the fantastic support of our local community that we are able to provide little comforts like easter eggs, toys at Christmas, and raise funds for the benefit of our local community through our catalogue of events that helps us in changing, transforming and saving lives across Oxfordshire and beyond.
