19th to 25th June is Small Charity Week – a week long celebration of all the small charities doing amazing work.
At P2G whilst we take a moment to bow to all wonderful small charities across the country, we thought we would take the opportunity to bang our own drum. Play2Give (P2G for short) is a tiny charitable incorporated organisation founded in 2007 and formerly known until last year as a fundraising organisation.
At P2G we are a charity made up entirely of volunteers. We have no paid staff and even our founder Andy dedicates his own time, energy and without pay to steer our ship.
We don’t receive any statutory funding and we rely on grants we receive or fundraising, such as through events and through activities including raffles, tombolas, stalls and individuals, to continue our good work and to keep doing what we do in the community with a large impact in changing, transforming, and saving lives locally to provide financial and material aid across Oxfordshire and beyond.
So on this tribute to small charity week, we say “thank you” to all our trustees, team of volunteers and to our fantastic community of supporters and sponsors for helping to make P2G so successful.
