Christmas gift giving campaign thank you

Published: 30th December 2025

This Sleigh2Give season we have once again been truly fortunate to have had so many wonderful businesses, schools, retailers including supermarkets, shops and cafes to community groups including dance schools, RAF personnel and netball and children’s karate clubs in and around Oxfordshire, and beyond, who helped us to spread plenty of festive cheer, joy and smiles to those in need and less fortunate and in hospitals and hospices.

We are so lucky at Play2Give to have such a wide and varied range of community and corporate supporters get on board with all that we do year round, to help us make a difference in our mission ot changing, transforming, and saving lives locally.

And our Sleigh2Give appeal is no different, and this year our 11th festive campaign saw a huge and increasing number of companies take part – many for the first time and we are as always incredibly indebted.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the following businesses:

Driving Miss Daisy Didcot and Venture Rental for supplying transportation of all of our record gifts to our Oxford healthcare recipients.

BizSpace (UK) on Didcot’s Southmead for storing all of our thousands of gifts and for all providing our year round storage and operations, in shared office with Oxfordshire Foster Association.

The Reed Group Oxfordshire who not only took part with an internal collection again repeating on their 2024 drive, but who encouraged an even greater number of their partners and clients to also join in and, who, thanks to Rich and his team at Reed all together gathered their largest number of donations collectively:

2Agriculture, Against Breast Cancer, AM Healthcare Group, Connect Vending, Dorchester Living, EnSilica, FCLG, Harrison Catering, Hatchette UK, Imago Group, Kubota UK, OxAM, SFA (Oxford), Warburton Building Services

Orange Aero Ltd for their significant donation of £2,500 and Cannon Packing and Logistics for their annual £1,000 Christmas donation, CTS Group Ltd for their £50 boost and No.33 Didcot gave £90 cash as part of donations from their afternoon tea with Didcot Santa events.

ATA Logistics, ATA Sameday and their sister companies including Didcot Auto Centre (all under the umbrella of ITB Holdings Ltd) went one step further this year by running an amazing Christmas Raffle online and raising over £1,000, whilst also purchasing a whole crate load of toys once again, and purchasing clothes through an emergency referral for a family left with nothing, as well as mentioned above supplying transportation of a full van load and Lucy their EA driving their van to help with pick ups from one gym and three schools.

We would also like to extend thanks to all the following corporate organisations for taking part in our record-breaking gift giving drive:

The Lambourn Abingdon, Angels, Berro Lounge, Better Group, Bird & Blend Tea Co. Oxford, BSWK, Class Act Teaching Services, Coronet Bingo Didcot, Calber Facilities Management, Central Co-op Funeralcare Oxford, Comets Netball Club, Cornerstone Arts Centre, CPC Project Services, Didcot Civic Hall, Explosive Learning Solutions, Carterton Morrisons, OSJCT Madley Park House, Orano, Pure Gym Didcot and Pure Gym Wantage, RAF Brize Norton, Sainsbury’s Heyford Hill, Snap Fitness Didcot, Step in Time School of Performing Arts, Tesco Didcot, The Recruitment Group – Witney, The Works Didcot, Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Wiley.

Thank you to all of these amazing organisations for their generosity, support, donations and kindness – even just one toy or gift, or at Easter a chocolate egg, makes all the difference with happy faces, smiles and joy all round to someone else in need

There are many other ways companies and organisations can also make a difference to Play2Give and all of our charitable objectives throughout the year, including our Easter egg appeal and opportunities to take part in or sponsor events, financial contributions, charity of the year partnerships, taking part in sponsored challenges and fitness events to a simple donation of a prize. Please do get in touch with us by reaching out at hello@play2give.org.uk or via our website if you would like to discuss how you can help out and get involved.

Wishing all of our wonderful supporters, sponsors, volunteers, trustees and the public a very happy new year ✨️🎆
