Dunelm Didcot’s eggscellent haul of eggs 🐰🐣
They’ve started to come in!
A big thank you to Dunelm in Didcot, who have kick started our eggs collection this year, with an amazing number of Easter eggs for our 2025 Easter appeal.
Dunelm in Didcot are a donation point for our fifth Easter egg appeal this year, and over the weeks, generous residents in the town have been donating lots of cracking chocolate delights as part of our campaign.
Our thanks to all the wonderful customers and visitors who’ve added an egg, it is eggstremely and eggnormously appreciated.
Last week, Andy went along to the store in the Orchard Centre to receive two wonderful big bags full, and is pictured here with store employee Anne.
This is the first collection received of the campaign, and Dunelm continue to be a donation point in the store. Our donation station can be found by the checkouts, next to the charity book swap.
Every egg no matter how big or small is hugely welcome, and all gratefully received to help us in spreading Easter cheer, joy and smiles far and wide this April, to children and families in hospital, hospices, the less fortunate and vulnerable.
The donation deadline for this year’s appeal is Friday, April 11th. Deliveries to Oxford’s healthcare institutions – Oxford Children’s Hospital, Sobell House, SSNAP and Viking House will be on April 15th, when the bunny will be hopping along to make lots of happy faces, for those going through tough and difficult times.
Every donation – including a financial contribution – is hugely appreciated and goes a long way to making a sweet difference to the lives of many this Easter.
To check out a full list of public donation points in Didcot, Abingdon, Wantage and Grove, Oxford or North Oxfordshire, please visit our dedicated appeal page, or to make a donation online which we will purchase Easter eggs please click here
Tomorrow Andy will hand over 50 eggs to Be Free Young Carers to benefit incredible young carers – thanks to this amazing haul from Dunelm.
Help us to raise up to 1,000 Easter eggs this year and bring some smiles to the faces of children and brighten their days.
