Football Tournament Sponsors – Thank You ✨️
Today, ahead of our 2025 Charity Football Tournament & Fun Day on Sunday, we extend an enormous thank-you to all those companies who have kindly sponsored this year’s event.
As with most big events, it’s only thanks to companies or grants from organisations that make them all possible – and this is true of our annual football tournament, which has been well supported by the business community over the past 14 events held.
This year, our main sponsors were, once again, for a third year, The Jones Robinson Group, who kindly provided financial aid at £250 – and the medals, awarded to all players of the top four placed teams, were funded by them.
Blue Blood sponsored a whole team kit, worth around £200, to one lucky team who won the chance to win a a kit, will be shown in full glory on Sunday. As well Blue Blood, friends of ours for many years, are joining in the footballing fun with us by attending with a stand, and running a fun “Find the Joker of the Pack” game.
danmundayhair for sponsoring by paying for a second year running more match balls, and donating a hair voucher for the raffle.
To our very own Chris Allum, who owns Allum’s of Oxon, for not just helping to co-organise this event, but paying for additional resources including the Tournify app, our brand new electronic app containing fixtures, results and tournament updates, providing transportation for us of our gazebos, tables and event supplies and everything in his van, as well as sitting up the pitches, producing the game plan and fixtures. We would be lost without him, and he is a valuable newest member of the volunteering team.
And finally to Waymark Property, who sponsored a number of bibs, emblazoned with both their company and our charity logos. They have recently adopted us one of their chosen charities. Dom, their head of sales and associate director, has joined our team recently as a volunteer and he will be helping out with us on the day, for which we are excited for.
We are immensely grateful to all of these fabulous businesses for putting their heart into our event and showing their corporate social responsibility and commitment to the community at their finest.
We wouldn’t be able to run many of our events, including our gala ball, another of our flagship events, without corporate supporters all year round.
We are looking forward to a fabulous day of fun and football at Wallingford Sports Park on Sunday. It all kicks off from 10am, and we will have Rodeo Buckaroooo with inflatables, Glitz Ink’d, sweets stall, raffle and tombola alongside music. The indoor bar will be open, and the sports park will be rustling up hot food from 9am. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a fantastic day in the sunshine.
