Nominations are closed for Play2Give’s volunteering award 2023

A huge thank you to everyone who sent in nominations for this year’s Angela Norris Volunteering Award.

We are delighted to have had a wonderful nominations this year, more than last year.

Nominations are now closed and the shortlisting has begun.

Our judging panel will meet and discuss all those nominated, to decide on an overall winner.

If you wrote to us and put someone forward, we thank you wholeheartedly. We have loved reading each one.

We have had some truly exceptional people from supporters to volunteers nominated and it will be a very difficult decision no doubt for our judging panel.

Last year, our first ever winners was long-term volunteers, David and Linda Latter.

Here pictured are all of last year’s award nominees, at our Hollywood themed ball held in March 2022.

Our 2022 winners, Linda and Dave, were truly shocked beyond words, but they was so deserving as was each nominee we celebrated.

Once again, we have all truly deserving nominees, and all are our P2G Heroes regardless.

Our annual award is named in the memory of our late supporter Angela Norris, wo sadly passed away in late 2020, but who remains in the heart of our charity as she absolutely loved and adored everything Play2Give stood for.

We look forward to announcing this year’s shortlist, and this year’s winner, at our great Gatsby themed black tie ball, at the end of September, and we will share the result on this website, afterwards.
