Nominations open for the 2025 Play2Give Volunteer Award
We are today delighted to launch nominations for this year’s Play2Give Volunteers Award 2025
This inaugural annual award recognises a Play2Give volunteer or supporter who has gone above and beyond in supporting our important work of changing, transforming, and saving lives across Oxfordshire.
All of our volunteers and supporters are immensely valuable to our charity and are P2G Heroes all year round.
If you’d like to nominate someone for our very special award for 2025, in which this year’s winner will be announced at Play2Give’s Night at the Oscars Ball 2025 on October 11, please e-mail your nomination with a recommendation of no more than 300 words to our vice-chair of trustees, Matt, at matthew@play2give.org.uk
Nominations close on at 11.59 pm on August 31st.
A judging committee from a shortlist will choose the winner. The award was founded in 2021, named in the memory of late supporter, Angela Norris.
This year’s top three shortlisted nominees will be announced, with certificates presented, on the night of our gala Oscars-themed ball, with the winner receiving a privately-funded trophy.
Last year’s winner was Chloe Boyne who reached five years of volunteering with us, including helping to organise our annual football tournament. Other previous winner included Leanne Coates in 2023 and David and Linda Latter as our first ever winners in 2022.
