Thanks to our amazing supporters of our 2024 Sleigh2Give Appeal, we’ve been able to help 14 wonderful organisations and partners, and some special individual families in need, in our Christmas toy and gift appeal this year, and today we celebrated providing even more gifts to our ninth beneficiary.
Oxford Head Injury Service is one of our key charities that through our charity Play2Give we support all year round through our funds, events and activities including raffles, tombolas and cake sales, but they’re also one of our annual gift giving beneficiaries.
This year we’ve been able to provide around £1k worth of all new board games, interactive games, brain puzzles, adult mindfulness, activity and colouring books, puzzles, toiletries, and even canvasses, and kitchen and baking essentials alongside new paint and brush sets and more.
There was so much this year that all the gifts couldn’t fit on the special display table that the activity and rehabilitation centre staff laid out to showcase and celebrate our tenth anniversary Sleigh2Give haul, at today’s Thursday group Christmas party.
Oxford Head Injury Services is a huge part of our charity’s fundraising and from our gala ball this year alone we provided over £3,408 in funds for this very special brain injury rehabilitation and support charity for adults and their families living with the impact of brain injuries. Andy is also not just a fundraiser for them through our tireless hard work and efforts but also a service user, of which he has benefited from their incredible service since the age of 23 for almost 13 years!
Thank you to everyone who supported our tenth anniversary Sleigh2Give campaign this Christmas, as you have helped us to bring so much cheer, joy, and smiles to so many including brain injury survivors and make all these donations possible.
Thank you to everyone for making a difference and to the everyday OHIS Heroes, thank you for being incredible and amazing to people like Andy.
