It’s back for 2025…. Our 14th Charity Football Tournament is ready to kick off to score big goals this July, and you can be part of it, too
Our 2025 football tournament and fun day will be pitching up on Sunday, July 13th, back at Wallingford Sports Park, and registrations to teams are open.
Join us for our fantastic 6 a side contest and help us raise lots of money for some incredible children, health, and disability causes and people in need, from children in hospital to adults living with the impact of brain injuries to patients with terminal illnesses to many more.
For just £80 entry per team, you can feel the footy fever and help make a big difference to people’s lives whilst playing the beautiful game.
The Planet Ballers are back, as our first team officially signed up is Planet IT, based on Milton Park in Oxfordshire.
They will be hitting the pitches, and we can’t wait to have JG and the squad back
In 2023, Planet was our top fundraisers raising an incredible £1,800 (with gift aid) as a team with captain JG (or shall we say R9!) leading the way in the sponsorship stakes, or rather hair-razing efforts. Joseph Gray set the gauntlet that, as captain, if he raised £1k, he’d shave his head in the style of R9, and his team, colleagues and supporters really got behind his idea, and far surpassing the goal, by the day he also lost his eyebrows for an extra £500, and we think he looked pretty cool and certainly wasn’t one to be messed with on the pitch.
Joe’s amazing effort and fundraising earnt him a well deserved nomination for our annual Angela Norris Volunteering Award, which is celebrated annually at our annual gala ball, which this year takes place on October 11th at Milton Hill House, and tickets are available for our most glitiziest night of the year, Oscars style.
So if you want to follow in Planet’s footsteps and take part in the beautiful game with a kick about for such an amazing local charity please get up signed, and be part of something special and you could be one of those battling it out against JG and the Planet Recruitment team vying to lift The P2G PEF Cup to victory, or even the P2G Plate. Or perhaps claim this year’s top fundraising team cup, which last year went to ATA Logistics LTD, who raised an amazing £1,300 plus!
Plus, with inflatables, ice cream van, bar and barbecue, and other fun on the side for everyone, it will be a day not to be missed
