A record-breaking Harwell Feast tombola total raised in history

What a day! That was bank holiday Monday, for it was no blue Monday for us.

Whilst the weather may not of been perfect and with a shower or two, we had another successful day had – and in fact a record-breaking stall – raising lots and lots of money and awareness for our charity at this year’s Harwell Feast and what another fabulous feast of fun it was.

We was busy from start to finish, with no time for a breather, we was literally all hands on and busy busy throughout. We even had to empty the cash tin as it kept getting full.

We also raised the most amount of money ever, at this event, smashing all previous years we have been in attendance at this fantastic family fun carnival, with over £850 raised!

An astonishing £852.04 was raised from our tombola, showing yet again the love there is out there for our tiny charity changing, transforming and saving lives across Oxfordshire showing that our community and supporters are the very best at getting behind our incredible work.

We had great fun as always joining in the carnival-atmosphere, and raising lots of funds and awareness for our wonderful charity.

Changing, transforming and saving lives across Oxfordshire and beyond is what we do every day, raising fabulous amounts to make a huge impact on the lives of others, making an incredible difference in the community to children, health and disability causes. Whether it’s funding brand new cutting-edge medical equipment, games consoles for the entertainment of teen patients or revamping areas on wards with bright new artwork for children in hospital, to recently providing funds to Oxford Head Injury Service to create a special sensory and relaxation room for brain injured adults, or a new specialist ambulance for Sobell House patients, everything that we raise all year round each year makes an incredible and long-lasting difference to the lives of our community, and all those our funds impact.

We say an enormous thank you to everyone who kindly supported and generously donated, to all of our amazing team of volunteers for all their hard work, and to the feast organisers for organising another great feast.

We look forward to 2026’s event when we will be back, for a seventh time.

We at P2G really are powerhouses when it comes to being prolific in the community, and we are always immensely grateful for the warmth, love and affection our little charity receives, it means so much and we are always hugely appreciative. We are once again a force to be reckoned with in the “fundraising” stakes.

2027 will be a big year for both Andy and for us, as Andy will reach a momentous 25 years of making a difference in February 2027 whilst as a charity we will reach 20 years old.
