2022 was another busy and packed year for us and it was also our best ever year yet in terms of the funds we raised surpassing any previous year.
Over £22,000 was raised overall and with charities from our local children’s hospital to Sobell House to Headway and many others all benefited from the kindness and generosity of our community.
Now, we are looking back at some of the highlights of our milestone fifteenth anniversary year.
September not only saw us launch our 8th and best ever Sleigh2Give Christmas Appeal, it was also the month we officially by date turned 15 years old and, on our official birth date, 13th September, we also received the wonderful news that our legal status had changed from fundraising organisation of many years to a CIO.
It was also the month that should of seen us celebrate our landmark year in style with our 15th Birthday Party on the Park, at Boundary Park in Didcot.
Due to the passing of the late Queen Elizabeth II, two days before our event was to be held, we postponed the event out of respect and it will now take place on Saturday, August 12th 2023.
But, it was also the month that saw two brave daredevils literally going above and beyond to support our charity and help raise funds, to support our 15th year appeal. Local ladies Erica Mackay from Didcot, and Jacqueline Burtonwood from Oxford, took their leap of faith at over 13,000-ft with a tandem skydive each.
The ladies took their fears to another level and plunged out of a plane through the skies and clouds above Hinton airfield and for their plucky and courageous acts of kindness, between them helped to add £810 into our 15k in 15 funds.
Two true examples of P2GHeroes.

Thank you to all of our wonderful supporters and to all of our community who get behind our charity and helping us in changing, transforming and saving lives across Oxfordshire and beyond.
It is only thanks to the incredible support we receive that we are able to do what we do in making an enormous difference and impact on the lives of others.
