The 9th Sleigh2Give Christmas Appeal has launched

Today, we are delighted to announce the launch of our ninth annual ‘Sleigh2Give‘ Christmas appeal.

Sleigh2Give is our festive arm, and each year since being launched in 2015, it has just grown and grown so far receiving and distributing around £250k worth of Christmas presents.

Last year, despite the cost of living crisis, it was another record appeal. Around £50,000 worth alone in 2022 of presents was delivered and given out to children in hospitals, hospices, the vulnerable, the less fortunate and low income families.

Spreading cheer, joy and smiles is what Sleigh2Give is all about and we are so privileged each year to receive such heart-warming support and generosity from our local community to help ensure that no poorly child in hospital, no child less fortunate and that no one less privileged, goes without a toy or a gift at the most magical time of the year.

From school children to office workers to supermarket shoppers to local businesses, other charities and even army regiments and dance teachers, the support this appeal each year receives, is truly amazing.

Beneficiaries include Oxford Children’s Hospital including the Horton Hospital children’s ward in Banbury, the neonatal care unit at the John Radcliffe, Helen and Douglas House, Home-Start Southern Oxfordshire, children in care, Thomley, the children’s wards at Royal Berkshire Hospital, Oxford’s Viking House, Oxford Head Injury Services, Home-Start Oxford, low income families and Didcot Foodbank are amongst just some who will receive a sprinkling of our festive cheer.

We already have several donation zones and these can be viewed at the Sleigh2Give 9 webpage.

We will also be in Tesco’s, Didcot from November 24th-26th. On December 3rd donations can be dropped off at our stand at the Didcot Festive Market, in the Market Place between 10am-3pm. Many more donation stations to be announced.
