Get involved to make a real difference this Christmas as our 12th toy appeal launches

Spreading cheer, joy and smiles for over a decade, our annual Sleigh2Give Christmas appeal has launched for its 12th year

Following on from our record-breaking campaign last year that saw the most amount of gifts than ever before donated, and for an appeal now well and firmly established we are delighted to launch this year’s Christmas drive

We need your help once again to make this year’s collection another brilliant year by helping us gather donations of all new toys and gifts to gift out to those less fortunate, in need and to children and families in hospitals and hospices

From an idea first created in 2015 with Sainsbury’s in Didcot as a single toy appeal for the Oxford Children’s Hospital, this annual appeal has captured the hearts and kindness of the community both from Oxfordshire and further afield, with around £290,000 in value of toys and gifts gifted out far and wide. Each year Sleigh2Give spreads cheer, joy, and smiles on a wide reaching basis from the poorliest of babies, children and teens in hospital, to families, patients and staff at Oxford’s Sobell House to the less fortunate and low income families and the vulnerable, those with disabilities and young carers.

Can you help us this year?

Would you like to get involved? Could you be a donation point? Want to hold a collection? Raise funds in some way? Volunteer your time? Donate pounds so that we can buy gifts to add? Find out more about where to donate your gifts or where your contribution will go? Then please reach out by contacting us or visiting the Sleigh2Give webpage to find out more.

Thank you to all the amazing individuals, companies, schools, groups, dance schools, karate clubs, gyms, clubs, supermarket shoppers and the many more besides who have all got behind our special and most heartwarming of appeals over the past decade.

Once again this year, you can help us spread immense cheer, smiles and joy in abundance to help brighten a million Christmases locally for children and families, hospital patients, those with disabilities and those who may otherwise go without a present, and together we can Sleigh 2 Give it for another year.

Oxford Children’s Hospital including the paediatric critical care, Horton children’s ward in Banbury and children’s ward at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, to the siblings of poorly babies in the neonatal care unit at the John Radcliffe through SSNAP, Sobell House, Home-Start Southern Oxfordshire, Oxford Head Injury Services, Be Free Young Carers and ROSY part of Oxford Health Charity are just some of the beneficiaries this year, so, please, if you are at all able, consider supporting and adding a toy or a gift over the coming weeks and months and help us make Christmas 2026 so more special and so magical for so many in need and facing some tough times.

Further donations of public donation points and further information of how to get involved will follow soon, so please keep an eye out on our blog and here
