Step in Time steps right into Christmas cheer

Published: 12th December 2022

Once again we really do have the best supporters and the best community around when it comes to our charity.
All year round we receive such incredible support and kindness to help us in our work supporting children, health and disability causes and our annual Sleigh2Give campaign is no exception.
Each year as well as raising thousands of pounds through our year round events and stalls, raffles and tombolas we also receive such overwhelming generosity for our annual Christmas present appeal.
Sleigh2Give aims to spread cheer joy and smiles far and wide to children and families in hospital, children less fortunate, the vulnerable and under privileged.
And, thanks to a Didcot performing arts school we will be able to do this in abundance further thanks to over 50 gifts from Step In Time School of Performing Arts.
For the past four Christmases Step in Time have adopted our Sleigh2Give campaign as their festive fundraiser and this year once again their community of young talented dancers and parents have “stepped” up and delivered with more fantastic toys and more.
Andy popped along to their Sunday dance school to see some of their children in action, and receive 52 gifts, which range from toys to colouring books, puzzles, toiletries and more.
Just some of these gifts can be seen.
We are immensely grateful to Roberta and Grace for facilitating the collection and to all of the families who contributed and especially more so in these challenging cost of living times.
On Thursday we will be delivering to Home-Start Southern Oxfordshire and on Friday to SSNAP, Oxford Children’s Hospital and Helen & Douglas House, and all from the fabulous donations we have received over the past few weeks.
Friday saw us hand over bags of gifts to Home-Start Oxford and to Oxfordshire Foster Care Association.
We never take any donation and any support for granted and we are wholeheartedly grateful for each and every toy, financial donation and each and every support, as it all helps us to make a positive impact on the lives of others in so many ways.
Thank you
