The weather outside is oh so beautiful and what a gorgeous sunny (although a scorcher) of a week it’s been, but we’re also delighted in the past week to have added to our storage too.
As our charity continues to grow and develop, so does our storage. Despite two sheds to store all of our operational and essentials that comes with running a charity as well as tubs load of donations towards tombolas and more, we was running out of space and it was so tight, such is the continued success of our charity that Andy’s baby is able to keep on giving to our community and changing, transforming, and saving lives across Oxfordshire.
Thankfully, we have acquired extra storage space with a lock-up thanks to one of our sponsors – Biz Space on Hawksworth Didcot – who adopted us this year as their chosen charity.
We are delighted and so grateful that weve been able to obtain the use of extra storage by sharing a room with our friends and the wonderful Oxfordshire Foster Care Association (OFCA) who we support and help, and who will be attending with a stall for their funds and awareness at our 15th Birthday Party on the Park event on August 12th.
A great example of charities helping other charities.
We officially moved into our storage premises last Friday, and on Monday we was sorting and sifting through donations ticketing up an army of prizes ready for our next tombola!
We are so grateful for corporate supporters like Val and Biz Space, as thanks to them we are able to do so much more, from financial support enabling us to continue to run, helping us to run large scale events and in so many other ways.
We are truly lucky at P2G to have such amazing sponsors and we have been truly privileged to have worked with and had the support of many over the years.
Please note our registered address and all correspondence remains in Abingdon at The Lambourn on Wyndyke Furlong, but we are delighted to have obtained storage space for our goods, and operational side, as sadly our storage at HQ came to an end due to all empty rooms becoming occupied.
Donations to our charity of any kind including raffle and tombola prizes can still be dropped off to members of our team in Didcot (please PM for addresses).
