On Friday Andy delivered an inspiring assembly to 240 Year 12 students at Didcot Sixth Form college.
Andy is a former sixth form student. He was a D6 graduate in the summer of 2007 and spent three years as a sixth former.
This year the students across both year 12 and year 13 will be taking part in a festive dress down, on the last week of this term, to raise funds for our charity, and in particular towards our eighth Sleigh2Give campaign.
The Sixth Form have supported Sleigh2Give over the past two years and last year raised £293 with their Christmas Non Uniform Day.
Returning to St Birinus School is always a sense of pride and special for Andy. It was St Birinus School where Andy’s drive to give back for his gift of life began in 2003, when he started fundraising in year 10 aged 14 for the Oxford Children’s Hospital Appeal.
We would like to say an enormous thank you to all of the sixth firm for all of their support and we look forward to hearing how much they raise this year.
Over the past two years they have raised £462 in total to our charity.
