Every little helps as tremendous Tesco provides a healthy book stand donation
A great big Play2Give thank you to the tremendous Tesco superstore in Didcot for their fantastic £150 donation this month.
Each month, the store picks a charity to benefit from a donation from their charity book stand. Since last May, the community champions have raised over £2,600 from the book stall in store, and January was our charity’s turn to receive a share.
Tesco store 2413 have always supported our tiny charity brilliantly over so many years and we’ve done 9 Christmas Sleigh2Give toy collections together and last year saw our sleigh collection in store, for the 10th anniversary Sleigh2Give appeal, the biggest and best one yet with a record number of toys and gifts donated!
They always donate to our raffles and in the past staff have donated from sponsored slims, and the community champions have supported our colour runs, festive markets and more by attending and running tombolas or handing out water and fruit.
So a great big thank you from us all to all at the store for their continued amazing support and we are delighted to be the first charity of 2025 to receive £150.
This donation will help us so much to keep on doing our fantastic work for the community and keep on changing, transforming, and saving lives locally.
