Andy’s dusting off his black tie – Play2Give have been selected as a finalist in the 2018 Oxfordshire Business Awards next month!
We are one of three organisations put forward in The Oxford Times Charity & Community Award category. We are are thrilled to be in the great company of fellow amazing charities. Our fellow finalists are in themselves wonderful – family centre Donnington Doorstep and mental health charity, Restore, both based in Oxford.
We are really delighted and hugely humbled to be selected by the judging panel to be part of these amazing awards – these are the most prestigious business awards in the county (black-tie style) held each year celebrating, recognising and rewarding the excellence of county-based businesses and entrepreneurs. The OXBA’s are now in their 24th year and the judging panel were impressed by how our Andy has driven P2G to success, through his own adversity, which was the reason for their shortlisting of us and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
Both Andy and our community officer Matthew will attend the glittering 3-course dinner and awards gala representing and on behalf of P2G on June 15th. The ceremony takes place on the evening of the 15th June at Oxford Brookes University’s John Henry Brookes building.
Please keep your fingers crossed for us and for all the other amazing finalists, all the winners of which across 13 categories will be announced on the big night after a bubbling drinks reception!
