£3,000 raised from 2025 funding two murals for two newly renovated bathrooms on the inpatient unit

£7,000 in 2025 is funding a brand new extra-ventricular drainage system (EVD) for children’s neurosurgery

£7,000 raised in 2025 will be funding the refurbishment of the Neurological Gym at the Oxford Head Injury Services centre. This donation will pay for brand new exercise machines and specialised kit replacing ageing machines and equipment.

Across 2023 we raised a record amount of money raising more than ever before, for the Oxford Children’s Hospital. In total, in the year we reached a lifetime total of over £100,000 raised, £15,000 is funding two projects – an art project for Melanie’s Ward (the adolescent unit) and a much-needed new Echo probe for children’s heart care.

March 2025 saw us fund two twin cot covers at £385 each for the neonatal  care unit at the JR Hospital.

Designed to reduce distractions like noise, light and temperature changes they help babies sleep soundly and safely.

These were funded thanks to £915 in funds we raised from our events and activities in 2024.

From our funds raised across 2024, we donated £5,323 to kick start Sobell House’s ‘Extra Mile’ appeal, to fund a specialist ambulance for the hospital.

2024 funds saw us purchase two pedal go-karts, and a picnic table, for the outdoor play area for children with disabilities and their families to enjoy at Oxford’s Viking House respite centre.

The go karts were provided as part of a concrete go kart race track and water resistant picnic table to give children, staff and families a chance to enjoy the open outdoors and take a break.

Over £40,000 funding a single patient room, formally unveiled in 2017, in the Oxford Children’s Hospital. ‘The Play2Give Room’ treats teenage patients facing long-term hospital stays on the adolescent ward.

£7,000 raised in 2017 funded six specialist neurological exercise machines part of the neurological physiotherapy gym at the OHIS rehabilitation centre in Kennington.

£5,310.87 was raised across 2022 in our 15th year funding:

• Karate lessons for children with chronic pain conditions – tailored classes allowing wheelchair-users and children who struggle to use their limbs to join in.
• Play Specialists – to calm children before operations and procedures to make the process less distressing.
• New EEG machine costing £55,000 for the Paediatric Critical Care  Unit.
• State of the art technology, refurbished hospital areas and medical research into childhood illnesses.

Over £10,000 was raised across three consecutive years through a wide range of events, numerous stalls, tombolas and raffles to help sponsor a family room in our name for one year in the brand new 62-bedroom Ronald McDonald House – the purpose-built ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families of sick children at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

Over £10,000 across three years from 2018 funded 401 nights to keep a family of sick children accommodated in the funding of the new Ronald McDonald House Oxford.

Over £750 raised in collaboration with two NCS Didcot groups funded 150 thermo-cooling mugs in 2019 for parents on the wards at Oxford Children’s Hospital meaning parents can take hot drinks onto the wards without leaving their sick child.

Across three years from 2014 over £1,995 went towards the redevelopment of the OHIS Activity and Rehabilitation building.

In fundraising for the Paediatric Eye Fund and raising over £3,340 across two years we helped fund a ‘RET-CAM’ and other revolutionary diagnostic pieces of medical kit for the Oxford Eye Hospital.

Nearly £7,000 raised through our tenth year in 2017 funded cutting-edge bedside monitors for the Oxford Children’s Hospital and PICU areas at the John Radcliffe Hospital for each child’s bed.

September 2016 at over £655 in funds raised we purchased two brand new PS4s with games and controllers for the teenage ward at Oxford Children’s Hospital in a fundraising partnership with Sainsbury’s Didcot.

In 2019 we helped provide funds over £507 towards the new sensory rehabilitation garden at OHIS, a project completed in 2023.

Raised distributed and donated thousands of Christmas presents in value totalling over £360k to children in hospital, less fortunate children and families across Oxfordshire since 2015 as part of our “Sleigh2Give” festive arm

Funded a wide range of medical equipment including towards revolutionary machines which diagnose meningitis at a rapid rate, a pioneering video link for parents with babies in NICU, ultrasound scanners, state of the art kit for children’s critical care,

£535 brought Christmas presents in 2020 for children at Oxford Children’s Hospitalsupporting the Oxford Hospitals Charity Covid-19 virtual “give a gift” appeal.

£100 towards funding a sensory garden to the children’s outpatients area, with a brick named after us erected in the ground to commemorate our support.

In December 2024, thanks to over £3,408 we raised from our 2024 007 ball for OHIS, we funded Christmas lunches for all service users and their carers across three therapy groups for brain injury survivors to enjoy, along with funding Christmas activities to make wellbeing an essential part of festive recuperation and fun. Other funds went towards the upkeep of the activity and rehabilitation centre.

Since 2020 we have run four Easter Egg Appeals, to spread some Easter cheer, joy and smiles to those less fortunate raising the spirits of children and siblings in hospital, others less fortunate and Helen & Douglas House through the distribution of hundreds of Easter eggs.
